DBI core business services are the provision of security personnel to our customers and therefore these services do not have a large impact on the environment. However, there are a number of areas in which DBI willingly focuses on further reducing its environmental impact and carbon footprint. .

Energy Usage

We aim to maximise efficiency and conserve energy through embracing best practices. Where workable, computerised heating, lighting and ventilation controls are installed in buildings.

Recycling & Waste Management

DBI are devoted to recycling of materials. This includes the recycling of paper and paper-based products, uniforms, toner and ink cartridges, obsolete mobile handsets, and vehicles to accredited organisation which make use of any spare parts.

Use of environmentally friendly products

DBI complies with all relevant standards on vehicle emissions and openly encourages the use of diesel or unleaded petrol to fuel vehicles. Fuel management is achieved through improved vehicle design and regular maintenance to ensure acceptable levels of health and safety and to minimise any impact on the environment through wasteful fuel management and emissions.
